Collaboration with Education Bureau and Schools in Enhancing Teachers’ Professional Development in Assessing Student Learning of Chinese Language
With support from the Education Bureau and collaboration with secondary and primary schools, Dr Zhu provided a series of teachers’ professional development courses, activities and seminars to more than 2,000 teachers based on the outcomes of several research projects. He also gave keynote speeches on conferences for introducing and releasing outcomes of research projects on Chinese Language assessment. The outcomes of these projects facilitated secondary and primary school teachers to implement better strategies of Assessment for Learning (AfL) to students and are highly regarded in the Chinese education scene in Hong Kong and other regions.
